Endowed Care

Right after I left a wet footprint on this stone near a graveyard tombstone, I was hit with the reality that even here among the living, I have “endowed care.” I’m not sure if the endowed care at the cemetery is in perpetuity, but ours is. Whether the concept is “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” (Deuteronomy 31:6) or “‘I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord. ‘Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans for hope and a future.'” (Jeremiah 29:11), we have promises, and the promises come from a God with the resources to continue the endowment beyond the grave.
